At eXp, you start with an 80/20 split — you keep 80%, and eXp keeps 20% until you hit your $16,000 cap.
Once you cap, you earn 100% commission for the rest of your anniversary year.

Fees:

$85 monthly membership
$250 capped transaction fee (drops to $75 after $5K paid)
$25 transaction review fee
$60 risk management fee (caps at $750/year)

Revenue Share Program

Help other agents join eXp and earn passive income from their production — paid monthly from eXp’s 20% share.

Tier 1 (your direct recruits): Earn 3.5% of their GCI (up to $2,800/year per agent)
Tiers 1–3: Unlocked for all agents.
Tiers 4–5: Unlocked for capping agents.
Tiers 6–7: Unlocked for ICON agents.
Revenue is paid by eXp, not deducted from the agent’s earnings

Stock & Equity Awards

Build ownership while you grow. You earn stock for key milestones:

$200 in EXPI stock when you close your first deal
$400 when you cap
$400 when a sponsored agent closes their first deal

Plus, you can opt into the Agent Equity Program and set aside 5% of your commissions to purchase stock at a 5% discount.

ICON Agent Program

High producers can earn up to $16,000/year in company stock as a reward for performance and leadership.

How to qualify:

Cap on commission (usually ~$2.66M volume at 3%)
THEN close 20 additional transactions OR pay $5K in post-cap fees

Awards:

$8K stock for production
$4K for cultural contributions (e.g. mentoring, vetting)
$2–4K for attending events like eXpCon or Shareholder Summit
